Hello everyones!!!!
Mi first post!
I been long time uchideshi in Hombu Dojo here in Lisbon with Mestre Tristao da CUnha. it was really a very big and awesome experience and i' m still here passed now as sotodeshi!
I learned so many things in these years and i think that a long period as uchideshi should be good for many aikidokas.
Let s do a research!
To all the people that can say that they had an uchideshi experience, which are the most important rules that we can say are assential to be a good uchideshi?
i ll write down here mine
1) constancy ( do always all the works and better as much is possible and try to be present always to all keikos);
2) good memory (remember more things we can and help the teacher even with his things and tried to help him as much is possible);
3) friendly (try to be nice to everybody, uchideshi and sotodeshi and try to meet all people that are connected to the dojo life and don t stay always closed in our dojo life)
4) patience ( be patience to the new uchideshi, explain to them everything that we know, let them integrated in the dojo life and teach to them how to be self-sufficient to solve the dojo's works and sometimes even be severe)
5) interest (be interested to the dojo life, discover why things works in this way and not in an other way, don t feel ourself a guest but jump into the life of the dojo, helping, showing interests and taking initiative and giving our personal opinion too sometimes when we have the permission)
In all these years as uchideshi i never been always a good uchideshi, i failed in many things but i discovered that i met so many friends very important for my life and that i learned and i m still learning so many things every single day and that i m wolking in a good way and i just need to continue!
